riding in the rain

Floyd's mom had the dream of having a wrap around porch so the grandkids could run around on it if it was raining. She got her wish. Miss Molly wanted to ride her bike yesterday before we left for church. Of course, it was raining. No worries. Floyd told her she needed to stay on the back porch because the rain was blowing onto the front porch.
Molly reluctantly agreed and went outside. Floyd and I got to watch her happily ride around the house to the front porch. See her look of "oh no" about all the rain (it had now started down pouring), and see her quickly ride back around to the back porch. She had the biggest grin on her face and was singing or talking when she returned to the back porch. It was hilarious. One of those moments when you know you should be mad she didn't listen and discipline her but it was so funny. When she came in, all wet, we dried her off and she very willingly took her time out with no complaining. She had to have known she would get a time out for it. Wish I had my camera to record the whole thing. Just priceless.
