Don't look Grandma!

The kids (and adults) played outside at David's 1st birthday party since it was a gorgeous day. Molly climbed her first tree thanks to dear old dad. I was inside and just happen to glance out the window to see my little girl up in the tree. Evidently, she tried out a few different spots and had a blast. Don't worry Dad was standing directly below her in case she fell.

photo shoot

Molly and her man Jonathan. Too bad you can't totally read the shirts. His says "#1 Hunk" and her says "Naturally Cute" It is really difficult to get 2 kids to sit still and smile long enough to get a picture taken. There was one taken of Molly running away from Jonathan. Unfortunately her head got cut off otherwise it was really cute.

Such the model. this is daddy's favorite picture. she looks so grown up!

She's driving now! She picked out this car from the storage room while Jonathan was having his pictures taken. She HAD to sit in it. I love this picture.

Loving her bunny that Mimi gave her when she was born. She sleeps with it every nap and night. We would be in trouble if we lost it!

vacuum broken and playdate with Maddy

We were talking to Mimi and Pawpaw on Skype when all of a sudden Molly said "vacuum broken" I asked her if she could fix it with her tools. She ran over and got them and started inspecting.

when in doubt of how to fix-get the hammer

Molly and her best friend Maddy at the indoor playground. Maddy is in her gymnastics class and we have a weekly playdate too.

It is fun to watch them interact more and play together.

Portland

Last weekend, we headed down to Portland to visit friends and family. Friday, we stayed with a Matt and Shawna (Matt was in the Navy with Floyd). Their friend Jason was in town on business and we hadn't seen him since our wedding. Molly had her first lesson in Foosball. She loved it. The table hadn't been fully assembled yet so it was Molly's height on the ground.

Saturday night we stayed at a hotel so Molly and her cousin, Mr. Man, could play in the pool. Pool Pool Pool

just lounging with Mr. Man. He did a great job playing with Molly and watching out for her.
Mr. Man cleaned out his bedroom to make room for his lego empire expansion. He gave Molly all of his Brio trains. She LOVES them. Choo Choo.

Unsuspecting Mr. Man sitting on the floor. Molly will come up to you, turn around and back into your lap. Mr. Man can make that girl giggle nonstop. She adores her cousin.

My sister, her son, Molly, and myself. I think this is the first time a picture has been taken of just us sisters with our kids. I like it!

Finally Asleep on the car ride home. She was tired after a long weekend.

random days in the life of Molly

She has learned to unlock her crib wheels and likes to move her crib into the middle of the room. Today, she grabbed a washcloth and cleaned the floor under her crib.

Molly with all her favorite friends.

"Are you coming?" parents are so slow!

molly will be playing dominoes in no time. we are using them to learn numbers and counting. plus colors. pretty useful plus they are fun to stack and knock over. Floyd built her a structure before he went to work for her to find when she got up. I should have had the camera ready. When she saw it, she looked at me, looked at it, smiled big and knocked it over.
