wow it's been a month

Ok, so maybe I'm not getting better at posting. I'll keep trying. In a nutshell, life is good here. Molly is loving her preschool class. In fact, she has her first crush on a little red head. Oliver is a sweet, quiet little boy. I think this is who she got in trouble for kissing her first day. His mom and I joke that he is oblivious to her. Oliver stays in his own little world most of the time. Besides at school, we see them occasionally at our Friday morning playgroup.
The birthday invitations have started rolling in for Molly. We went to a bounce house for a party last Saturday. This Saturday we are going to a "fairy" birthday party. Molly has so much fun picking out the presents for her friends. She has done a great job with it. I'm proud of her.

As for our church search, it still continues. WOW! I think out of about 8-9 churches, we are considering going back to 1 of them. We still have a few more to try out first. I forgot how hard it is to find the right church that fits all 3 of us.

On my parents way to Florida, they took at detour and came to visit for a week. We all had a great time. Molly was in heaven and so was Nana! We ventured downtown Dallas and drove thru the historic district where JFK was assassinated. Only drove around since we didn't want to explain to Molly yet about the assassination. Plus we were on our way to aquarium at Fair Park. Molly enjoyed feeding the stingrays and looking at all the fish and turtles. I am proud of myself that I got us down there and back and didn't get lost!

I am loving my new car! We have already put over 1200 miles on it in less than a month. Floyd's job is keeping him busy. This week he is working 12+ hour days. At least, he is able to come home for an hour at lunch time to see us. Poor Molly has only been seeing him for an hour or less a day. On top of that she has a cold and doesn't feel good.

Molly got to ride a Welsh pony the other week. She loved it. I see horse riding lessons in her future.

Overall, the more we get settle here, the more I feel confident that this was the right move for our family. Well, Molly has told me it is time to leave. I might just surprise her and take her out for dinner. Talk to ya all later!
