next carseat?

Hello!

I have been researching our next carseat as Molly is quickly approaching the limit on her infant carseat. I am not sure if we will end up getting 2-one for each car or not. If we do it would be the Graco comfortsport Convertible Car seat and ?. The Graco has good reviews and is the right price, especially if buying 2! Not sure what the other one should be. I have narrowed it down between a Britax Boulevard and Truefit Convertible by Learning Curve. Both have good ratings but there is a significant price difference between all 3. Truefit received a 4 out of 5 star from the National Highway traffic safety administration. The Boulevard received 3 out of 5, if I remember correctly. I have had several people tell me to get a Britax-this was before I started doing research. I think even before Molly was born. Anyway, I am looking for any feedback that you might have.

Molly update: she now has 3 teeth. the 2 on the bottom from 2 months ago and one on top that broke thru last night. She has 2 more on top that look to be extremely close to coming thru. She is getting tall enough to pull things off the edge of the kitchen table-which by the way she is doing while I type. Time for me to sign off.

I have advice what-so-ever in regards to carseats. When I was a kid, I just sat in my Mom's lap. That seem to work out okay as I reached the age 30-something this year. Who needs car seats????

Babies with teeth! There is nothing scarier! They don't realize their strength yet and when they bit down, holy cow it hurts!

Hi Wendy,
Not sure if you have already gotten a new car seat, but here is my two cents:
We have an Evenflo Titan convertible car seat. Here's the website:
http://www.evenflo.com/product.aspx?id=213&pfid=172
It got great ratings, goes up to 50lbs, and has memory foam, plus it's only about $100 (pretty good for a car seat, I think). The one thing I don't like is that the straps are a little tricky to adjust. I believe that Evenflo does make a very similar model that has easier strap adjustment though. We got this seat way back in September when Jamie was only 5 months old because he was too tall for his infant seat!
Good luck!
