This started out about our second home remodel, then included Molly. Now we are changing it again. Still all about Molly but now it is about our new adventures in our new city.

Time Flies!
Molly had her 2 week check up on Thursday. Yup, our little girl is already 2 weeks old! I can't believe it! She is doing great and is perfect (not just according to us but also her dr says so). Molly weighs 9lbs 1oz and growing strong. She has started to sleep for 5 hour stretches a couple of nights this week. I must say we were very excited about that. Thursday was a big day for her besides having her checkup. Floyd gave Molly her first bottle. She took to it with no problem. We refer to the bottle as the "A" cup. It is by Adiri Natural Nurser and resembles a breast- a small one at that. Highly recommend this bottle. She also had her first tummy time on the floor. She has a strong neck and control is getting better. She can hold her head up pretty well already. It is so cute the faces she makes when she does. Molly has also found her thumb. Sometimes it is hard to get it away from her to feed her.

She looks so cute. I can't believe she is 2 weeks old!!!! Can I be nosey? Why would you give her a bottle that looks like a breast? Is that some kind of Nelson Family experiment to try and trick her?
She is beautiful!!! Enjoy every moment. Colin is turning 2 in two weeks and Katherine just turned 6 months and I have no idea what has happened to time. I just try to etch every day in to my memory. Every day gets more special as they grow and learn, and I want to remember every single moment. Keep kissing her sweet little face. And yay - she is on a great sleeping path I think. Both C and K were doing 5-6 hour stretches the first two weeks and by 7.5 weeks K was doing 12 hours straight. Colin started doing 10 - 11 hours straight at 8 weeks and got to 12 hours by 10 weeks. There is hope :)
She is so beautiful! Glad to read that things are going well!
