Shhh, don't tell Floyd. I had to turn on the heat this morning. it was 62 in the house. He likes to wait til Nov. I don't think so. It has turned into a wonderful fall day! Shelly and I had the same thought that we should get out and enjoy a sunny day before the rain sets in tonight. No new pictures- at least none that I remember taking and need to download. Molly is too cute but we all knew that. She really watches what we are doing and than imitates us. We were cleaning the house last weekend. She rode on daddy's back while he vacuumed. (she was scared of it) Now she pushes her toy vacuum around the house. She watched me dust so now she pulls out her washclothes and wipes up the floor and dust her garbage can in her room. She spilled milk on the coffee table and before I could do anything about it she grabbed her blanket on the couch and "cleaned" it up. too cute to watch.
We went to our monthly contemporary church service on Friday night. She loves to dance. She was getting her groove on in the aisle and even tried to go up front. Before we went to church we walked to the new park that opened last month. What a cool park!! Now the only thing that is really for her on the playground is a swing but that doesn't stop her. She wanted to play with the big kids running around. I wish I had my camera but it was an impromtu stop. She had no hesitation to climb up the jungle gym and come right on down the slide. She was grinning ear to ear as I was having a heart attack watching her. Don't worry Dad was one step behind her the whole time.
As for the house, we are making slow progress. Floyd has completed 3 interior doors. He is staining and finishing them himself and doing a beautiful job!
Enjoy Fall!
This started out about our second home remodel, then included Molly. Now we are changing it again. Still all about Molly but now it is about our new adventures in our new city.

Molly's 1st haircut
On Thursday, grandma, grandpa, and mommy took Molly to get her 1st haircut. We started off the day with a play date at the park with Andrew, Ava, and their momma Karen. Then off to the salon only to wait 20 minutes for Faye to show up. She had forgotten about us but squeezed us in when she got there. This was the first time we had been there but was recommended by Karen. Faye charges a $1 for every year old you are up to 10 or 12 years old. She was fast and efficient and didn't even let Molly's protests slow her down. She used an electric razor which scared Molly but she was a trooper. My little girl looks all grown up now, well not really but she does look older. how sad.

she's a lover
We have ourselves a lover. Miss Molly has embraced hugging and kissing(smothering some poor unsuspecting person with a ton of slobber). Especially little boys......oh the fun begins. Poor David and our neighbor's 5 month old son got hugs and kisses today. The boys just looked at us with this look of "what is she doing? get her away from me". I wish we would have gotten the camera out for a few of the hugs. They were pretty sweet. By the end of the day, David was hugging her back. Too cute!
